As a solo artist, Maiya has shared the stage, opened for, and collaborated with talented
Canadian performers Corwin Fox, Ari Neufeld, Nicole Texidor, Dan Mangan, Shane Koyczan and Miss Emily Brown. Her performance and song writing skills have earned her a 2008 BCIMA nomination for Best Female Performer of the Year.
